Hello LMSC Community another season is upon us and registration is OPEN. Check out below to see what's going on this season! PLEASE register ASAP so we can get you connected before the upcoming deadline on February 10, 2022.
For 1st grade and up, this registration is for local play here in Harrison County with games primarily on Saturdays. This generally runs from April to mid-May.
For Pre K and TK/K, players will be divided into teams among registrants and play in Logan only. Games may be on weeknights or weekends. Pre K, TK/K registration includes a player T-shirt in your teams' color.
In 2021 we upgraded our uniform jerseys. If you have not yet purchased the new uniform style, it is available at this time through the uniform link above right.
In 2021, we additionally had some exciting changes and improvements to our program offerings. We received a grant from the King Foundation which allowed us to upgrade and replace much of our old equipment and goals.
This equipment upgrade impacts all players, as we now have new goals, balls, and training equipment to enhance each athlete's ability to progress in the sport of soccer.
The progress and growth of our athletes is a top priority and thus, several teams/players will have the opportunity to play in an additional league or tournament hosted by the Council Bluffs Soccer Club. A coach or LMSC administrator will contact you if there will potentially be a team in your athlete's age group. These offerings are optional and will have an additional associated cost.
VOLUNTEER AND EARN BACK
We are in need of volunteers to run concession stands, coach teams, setup, referee, and other such tasks associated with a spring soccer season.
If you would be interested in earning back a portion of your registration fee, there will be opportunities to do so. Once registration is completed, those who have registered will receive notification of volunteer opportunities that they can lay DIBS and earn back some funds.
Enjoy the Game,
Board of Directors
The Logan Optimist Club (LOC) saw a need to provide kids in our community with a viable option to play and compete in soccer. In 2011 the LOC created its soccer program.
In 2020, the LOC launched the Logan-Magnolia Soccer Club (LMSC) to better serve the athletes and parents of our soccer community. We have grown from our beginnings and now serve over 250+ youth athletes.
LMSC strives to provide young athletes the opportunity to grow in their enjoyment and skill of the sport of soccer by providing a safe competitive environment and quality coaching that follows the US Soccer guideline of excellence.
Thank you for being a part of the LMSC and we look forward to serving you, your family, and growing the sport of soccer in our community.
